I went thru the same thing a few weeks ago. The thing that I didn't do 
the first three times was clean the exhaust. Once this was done the 
furnance works like a champ. We even survived a nice cold weekend 
in Hiawassee, GA. Had a low of 7 degrees Saturday morning. Now the 
heater works great again but the converter crapped out.
