Except for small patches, it would be too full of holes to use.  
Depending on the location, the bays are 22" long, but you have 
stringers at every 18" or so, so the thing would look like Swiss 
cheese.  Add the fact that the inside has bonded doublers & tear straps 
and that the skin is way thicker than that used on an Airstream, makes 
the 747 better suited to holding our future cans of beer...

What is nice is that it can be rolled and shipped.  The skins are 
2024T3, and thickness varied by decade, so measure yours before 
ordering.  To get a feel for pricing, the typical skin is .032 and the 
belly is .020.
