Hello,
Roger, When I stripped my 68 30' I used 4 gallons of Bix Stripper and 2
gallons of lacquer thinner. I painted a thin coat of stripper on the
panel, let it sit and then used a plastic putty knife to remove the
clear coat. I then used the thinner to pull up the residue and the
remaining clear coat. I did go through a number of rags cleaning up with
the thinner.
