Definitely use SS screws whenever you can.  Fantastic Fans comes with an
inside trip piece that works perfectly on the Airstream.  I don't understand
why an Airstream trim piece is necessary?  We used Vulcem all the way around
but "it never rains in California" so we may have to wait a long while to
test the installation.
