Sounds like you are all doing the same as I.  The McMaster catalog has
these anti spinning thingies that you attach to your drill - but its $70.00
for the set.

I have found slower seems to work best for me, drills material before it
starts to spin.

I just wanted to know if you all knew of any special tricks that I'm
missing....
