Why don't you try any of the Airstream dealers on their 800 numbers? Oasis
RV in Tucson is 800.658.5863.  Ask for Jay. Tell him you read on the VAC
List that "some guy" said, "Jay is one savvy detective when it comes to
locating Vintage Airstream parts."

Another lead: For years, Tom Patterson has archived all of the messages from
both the Vintage Airstream and Airstream list. There are tens of thousands
of pages in a search data base on his website.

I haven't checked his archives for a list of all Airstream dealers and their
800 numbers, but it might be there.

Best of all, Tom has created a search feature that's easy to use and can
save you hours when you want to learn something technical relating to

Come back to us on the VAC List in a week or so if your efforts don't locate
