not sure where I found the recommendation (Hayes controller??) but I ran the
charging line using 8ga and that was because I could not find any 6ga.
stuff is expensive but 10ga is just way too light!
However, on the other hand, single or double ought is too heavy<G>  finally, I
vaguely remember that stranded was not the best, one should use single wire with
heavy insulation.
