[VAC] Re: 6.2 Diesel

Terry

I hope this is appropriate for the list...if not someone let me know.

Thanks for the info. What RPM at you at at 60mph, I'm at about 2700 in
drive which seems high, but the truck seems to hum along fine. I've got a
4:10 rear.

I'll take your advice for the diesel owners club (whats one more club) and
also for the additive. My temp climbs to 230 when I climb passes, but
comes back down quickly when the fan comes on, I figure it won't hurt
anything.

Yea I really like this vehicle. I had 64,000 miles on it when I bought it
from a friend of my cousin. They kept it perfect (not a scratch on it) and
I'm continuing to be very particular about it. I've put new shocks, hoses,
CDR valve tires, brakes and other things I can't think of. I hope it will
last a long time.

I met another Airstreamer who just bought a 95 and on it was a gear
splitter. Kindofa cool gadget that lowers RPM with the filp of a switch.
This was installed on a 4wd Suburban. It locks out the 4wd when engaged.
I'm going to check into it. Seems like it could be a good thing in the
flats when running in drive.

By the way I've been wondering to write you for a long time about the
Walmart on top of Raton Pass, still have not found it yet. I think it was
John at Oasis who was wondering also. (heehee)
