John Deere makes an excellent additive conditioner for diesel fuel.

Since you only add 1/5 of an ounce per gallon the cost, if you bought a
gallon of the stuff, works out to just $.05 cents per gallon.

For a 40 gallon fuel tank you only need to add 8 ounces which works out to
just $.40 cents per tankful in my case.  This is cheap insurance.

If anyone wants the name of the JD additive let me know and I'll post it.
