Hey Bob,
Same thing happened to us. It never seemed to get
worse until the thing never shut off and I didn't
realize it. It filled the tank and bathroom floor. The
whole unit was worn out, mostly rusted and not
repairable. We replaced it. That is hard to do also as
the unit we had is no longer manufactured. I hope you
don't run into the same difficulties that we did.
