[VAC] Re: Ammonia

I have no opinion about whether ammonia will work on clearcoat, but
household ammonia is fairly weak, as ammonia goes. A much more potent
ammonia is used as the developer in blueprint machines, and might be worth a
try. It can be had for about $7.00/gallon at blueprint supply houses, large
office supply places, and the like. If you know an architect, you can
probably get used ammonia for free, and it's still pretty wicked.

If you try this, use extreme caution: it will burn your eyes and throat and
knock your socks off. Pay attention to the MSDS.
