Hi Kathy, I read it too , tried it , did`nt do a thing to my clearcoat , I also remember reading on the old ( before the vac list split from a/s list ) that ammonia wasnt good for cladding , but I tried it anyway , nothing happened . Maybe it works on later /other formula clearcoats , but not on my 67 . Chris
