Jim, I asked my State Farm agent the same thing and he said I needed
documentation. Appraisals from someone who knows and sells restored
Airstream trailers. He means dealers -- not my brother-in-law. I'd be
interested in hearing from anybody who has had some success at getting such
documentation together. A letter on letter head stating it's restored value
is what my guy says it takes to get a fair settlement in the event of a
loss.
Anybody know of dealers or Airstream repair facilities that could provide
such a letter for a fee?
