Terry-

I connect my laptop to my Cell phone Motorola V120, with a cable ordered 
direct from Motorola, and direct dial to my ISP
on their 800 number using the normal internet connection you would use from 
your laptop.  The tin tent can interfere with the signal so I put the cell 
phone against the window  for a better signal.

This takes a little trial and error due to location, where the cell site 
is.....etc.
