I must have missed something, was this Bambi found wrecked?  
On the subject of "rear ending" , my ex used to drive a trailer loaded with 
sports cars going to the race tracks ( he raced Lotus cars ) and his method 
to discourage "tail gating" was to wiggle the trailer a bit and use the brake 
lights more than usual.  This sometimes worked to make people either back off 
or pass .  I worry about this since little cars can get behind my GT and I 
can't see them even through the trailer windows which I keep clear of 
curtains.
