[VAC] heaters

There has been lots of talk of replacement heaters for the orginal gas
furnaces.  Some electric, some catalitic, etc...

Isn't one of the airstream benefits the forced heater keeping the holding
tanks from freezing, and that you can run them w/o being plugged in to
electricity?

Don't you loose these features by changing out the furnace?
