Hi Dave,
I am in the middle of rebuilding my 59 Traveler, interior is removed and your 
information on rewiring confirmed my suspicions, remove the interior panels 
to do it right. I too will have to replace the floor, can you provide some 
details on how you did it and what you found? This is the next step in my 
little project and any info would be appreciated.
