Dave, I pulled my ' 73 Sovereign with a ' 78  E-250 van set up for towing
including an auxiliary fuel tank from the factory. The auxiliary tank held
15 gallons giving me a total of 40. I found that by the time I had run
through 40 gallons at 8-10 MPG depending on terrain, I was ready to stop,
get out and stretch my legs. In my typical travels, locating fuel for fill
ups was not a problem. I suppose it could be for some.
