Roger,

Im confused....  (a common occurrence with me, I am afraid... :-), so 
please excuse my ignorance.

There IS a valve with a red handle under the sink.

I didnt know this was the hot water heater bypass. I thought it was one of 
the water system drains.

I assume that bypass means that the hot water system no longer goes through 
the hot water heater. Is this correct? How does this one work? I see no 
mention of it in the owners manual.

I just bought mu A/S, so I have not had to winterize it. I hate getting RV 
antifreeze in teh hot water tank, because it takes 6 months to get the 
taste out afterwards...
