Gerald, you must have a replacement furnance in your ' 66 Overlander. I
think the Suburbans of that era used a pilot light and striker instead of an
electronic ignition board. At least that's the case with my ' 68 Tradewind
and the original furnace (which I got working, BTW). I'd try testing or
replacing the thermocouple assuming it's snugged up -- but don't over
tighten. A new thermocouple, a new sail switch (air prover) and cleaning and
adjusting the pilot got my Suburban going again.
