[VAC] Good news and bad news

Hey gang, I've got good news and bad news.  I'll start with the good news
first since thats what we all like to hear.  Today I pulled home a little
1962 Globe Trotter to live with us. I convinced myself that I need it to
during solo trips the the Bronze foundry.  Besides it has nice skin (no
dents)and needed rescuing from it's inevitable fate (sheep camp.) 

Now the bad news, I've been trying to figure out why the Suburban furnace in
the 66' Overlander won't light.  I replaced the mother board with a Dinosaur
model board which seems to be operative...the striker is working, etc.
however the unit seems not to be getting gas.  I do not here the gas valve
open, nor is there gas present. Any ideas in regard to testing the valve,
etc. would be greatly appreciated.
