[VAC] LP Tank Shut-Off

After spending lots of time this summer reworking the 1973 22 Ft. Argosy we
bought in June, we are nearing the point where we finally get to put it back
on the road and go!  But a new (for us) question has come up.

The operator's manual says that it is necessary to shut off the LP tanks
when towing.  Of course this eliminates the refrigerator.

Our previous RV experience was with a motorhome.  It had what seem to me to
be similar LP systems (except they had electronic ignitors for the burners).
We normally ran the motorhome with the LP on to keep the fridge going - did
this for many thousands of miles.

What happens if we leave the LP in this Argosy on to keep the fridge going?
