[VAC] Re: The Average Age of an Airstreamer Enthusiast?

My wife and I met in 1964 when I was living in Phoenix in a 1949 Liberty in
the Silver Dollar Trailer Park. It was 30' long, wood interior, really a
house trailer as too heavy to haul around. Married in 1965, went to a
camping show and saw our first Airstreams...when we make it baby we'll buy
one of these. Flash forward to 1995: our son, resident in LA, surprises us,
hugely, with the gift of a 1960 Overlander he bought from a couple who had
lived in it in Pacific Palisades for 22 years. He hauled it here to our farm
in Wisconsin and drove it into the yard, filled with people, on our 30th
anniversary. We are currently 57 and 55 and just getting around to actually
doing something with the trailer.
