Mike Nothing wrong with being prepared if you take both sizes. If you only use the 2", you can return the 2 5/16" later. I believe I was one of the 50/50 on the ball sizes. After checking the '66 and '73, the '66 has a 2" and the '73 is 2 5/16". I never paid it much attention until I went to swap over the weight distribution setup. I have Reese dual cam on one and E-Z lift on the other. Bobby
