Thank You for clarification. I believe someone on the list reported that they removed the grommet and cut it in two and after the shock was on slipped the other half on and completed the install. This seems to be a viable solution. I'm not real familiar with these things does this strike anyone as a big "no,no"? J.L.Dietz #4361
