Ralph, according to reports I've heard, unless your
insurance policy provided for reimbursement for INSURED value, it doesn't make
too much difference about the amount of coverage being accurate. The
insurance company will determine what they think it's value is in case of a
loss. A good thing to do is to get knowledgeable sources (Airstream dealers, RV
specialists, etc.) to give you a written appraisal of the trailer's value. That
will be helpful to the insurance company if and when there's a loss for them to settle.
So I have been told, FWIW.
