[VAC] hot water heater alternative

I've been using the '79 Dodge 'champion' rv (a dodge version of the
'TransVan') as a kind of a test-bed for some ideas for the ongoing Trailwind
restor/renovation. Today i found an interesting item at the Home Despot - a
very compact under-the-sink 110v dedicated hot water heater for a hot water
dispenser at the kitchen sink. It produces small amounts of nearly boiling
water (190 degrees) very quickly, through a separate fixture resembling
those used with under-sink water filtration systems. Since the Champion is
not really set up for 'full-timing' or longer than a weekend trips (no
shower or bathing or bathroom sink, toilet only), i've become comfortable
using a pair of 'sun-shower' bags for outside 'navy showers'..
For the Trailwind, though, i'm thinking that this might be an alternative to
conventional or flash hot water heaters. i've become intrigued with the
notion of using one of these at each hotwater location instead of a single
hotwater heater... has anyone done anything like this?
