Tim,

Check the classified phone book and look for cabinetmaker supplies,
wholesale.

Many will sell retail.  They typically deal with companies like Winnona and
National Products [who manufacture tambour].

Since these firms are stocking dealers, they may have the color you want in
stock.  If they order it, they can combine your order with other orders and
the shipping charges may be zero, since the order is large enough for the
tambour manufacturer to pick up the shipping.
