It is amazing what parking under a tree will do to reduce hail damage. My
rig is under a tree, and we've had hail here that reduced entire car lots of
new cars to junk--smashed windshields, the whole bit‹but I've not had one
dimple. I can hear lots of hail hitting the roof, but the leaves and
branches must slow it down enough to keep it from damaging.
