[VAC] ARGOSY COLORS

I'd heard from Keith Williams of this list, currently doing a gorgeous,
paint-off renovation of his Argosy 22, that his trailer had been painted
white above the beltline and tan below, something neither of us had seen
before. A few days later, I saw an original-looking Argosy heading east on
I-88 in Western IL with exactly that color scheme. So I guess it was
available originally. Also, Keith and I were both interested in his
discovery that every aluminum panel on his 22 showed evidence of being
reworked before the original paint went on, lending credence to a rumor I'd
heard that Argosy trailers were made from damaged panels--hence the painted
finish.
