[VAC] Re: Refrigerator Venting

         Exactly- if the area is too large, much of the air drawn in by 
convection will bypass the coils and fins.

         Both Dometic and Norcold recommend a maximum of 1" clearance at 
the rear.

         That said- I've never really had a problem due to venting in 
Airstreams, so...?(but it should, theoretically, increase the efficiency.)
