[VAC] Re: Fw: Class 4 Receiver Hitch- Air Ride

A couple of things- first, as to this particular company, I
wouldn't ever do business with them- they have basically stolen the design
and patent for this hitch, they have several court orders against them, and
if you need service in a year- this company will be out of business, but
the same people will be doing business under an all new name.
For more info on this, see:
http://www.easyriderhitch.com/court_order.html

I just can't emphasize enough that this guy (Craig Kaplinski- aka
advance air hitch or whatever) is scum.

Now- as to the question- I have installed these hitches (from Easy
Rider) on a couple of trucks- the thing to keep in mind is that with
properly adjusted spring bars, there is still a couple of hundred pounds of
weight on the hitch.

Next- the trucks that I recommend the air hitch for are very heavy
duty vehicles- 2 1/2 ton Isuzu trucks, in my case.. the air hitch is to
keep the trailer from being beat to death by the truck. I kind of tend to
dismiss the claims of more safety, etc.

FWIW..
