[VAC] Burning Man needs A/C

I've lived in northern Nevada for a few years, and keep meaning to make it
to the Burning Man...
maybe i'll make it this year with some inspiration from fellow-listers.

Jeanavive - if your trailer's up to snuff (tires, brakes, etc.. ), i might
be willing to make my Durango available for the round-trip to the Burning
Man... it's rigged with EZ-Lift load-levelers, fricton sway control, and a
Jordan Research Ultima 2020 brake controller, in addition to the Dodge
factory tow package...you can contact me off-list at rctowns@attglobal.net
if you're interested...

Wayne - I've seen people use small, portable swamp-coolers inside
trailers... not sure how that would stand up to the late summer desert
swelter, though. I may have mentioned here that I've taken the Coleman
roof-air off my SOB RV, and am working out the air-flow and venting to mount
it under the front seating in the Trailwind. It seems very very 'do-able'.
With a propane-fired genset under the other seat, I should have all the mod
cons and all of 'em out of sight...

I've also found an horizontal ASME (permanent mount) LPG tank, 35#, which
will mount nicely on the tongue of the Trailwind. The valve set-up is a
little more elaborate than on the portable DOT tanks, and a bit more pricey,
but these things last FOREVER. The only drawback i can see is that the
entire trailer needs to be towed to the propane place to have the tank
filled... but Airstreams were made for towin', not settin'...
