[VAC] Re: Pic of my 66 Puller (and Questions)!

What about that cute little doggie in the photo? It looks a lot like my
mostly-Pom, Cootie!

Nice truck, too by the way. I had illusions of hauling my TradeWind with
my old Plymouth, but have changed my mind after hauling the Trade Wind
from Michigan on its maiden voyage. My brother's steering me in the
direction of something similar to what we used, a Dodge van with a hefty
tranny and a tranny cooler that's not as old and tired as the one we
used last month.

How did those old cars in all the vintage photos haul the airstreams
around?

Meanwhile the TradeWind has been weasled into the backyard and sits
there, awaiting cleaning, replacement of split rims and old tires (so
glad they all made it!), and a thorough examination for the dreaded
"Black Tank Disease."

It's a '65 -- and has a tall almost apartment-size magic chef
refrigerator. Were those common? I've been assured it works on both
propane and electricity, but there's no propane in the tanks just now.
I've got to get a BIG extension cord to run power out to it. There's no
battery for the univolt, so I don't think I'm going to fry myself
inadvertently when I get it plugged in, but all the discussion of it on
this list has me scared to try to power up my trailer. Is that pathetic,
or what? This is all rather new territory for me. If someone had told
me five years ago I would have one of these in my back yard, I'd have
questioned their sanity. Now I'm questioning mine! :-)
