[VAC] Re: Argosy Trim

I have had a 76, 77, 78 Argosy's and all had brown and orange trim with
some terrible metallic brown/gold accents on exterior. The bananna skin
had variouls types of brown, most I saw were a chocolate color, some
dark and some lighter. Frame colors were similar. Vinyl inserts on rub
rails were always orange Sounds like previous owner did a lot of
repainting.

The window edge trim is a problem I have in my '78 and it keeps breaking
off. Curtains cover it but I have considered using some of the snap on
trim used on exterior door edges although it is a faux chrome finish. I
have also thought of simply chalking the edge with type stuff used on
kitchen sinks. So far am just leaving it alone. On installation you may
have to rivet or glue or both.

Tires I suggested you get ST 235 radial tires. With a 22 ft trailer and
a decent equalizer hitch (such as Reese) you should not have a sway
problem.
