[VAC] Short in Brake wiring

We are trying to get the electric brakes in the trailer to work...The
magnets are fine and test ok according to the Airstream manual.  There
is an electrical short in the wiring between the 7 pin pigtail under the
front goucho where the wire is yellow, and the place where the gray
wrapped black and white wires come out of the belly pan to power the
brake magnets.  Somewhere, deeply hidden, is a junction where the yellow
wire turns into four gray wrapped black and white wires...But
where?????  Bellypan?  Above the center panel in the ceiling?
Electrical problems are not fun, and this one, after two days of trouble
shooting, is turning out to be the not-funnest!
