Does a T-Bird have a ladder frame underneath or is it unibody
construction?
The extremely low body and massive rear bumper design would
present a challenge to installing a hitch receiver.
The short wheelbase would not provide much stability but for
slow speeds through town and short distances it would probably be
tolerable.
I am a vintage car lover also and have thought of adding a
hitch receiver to one of my '50s Chevys for similar use when the Safari is
ready to use again.
