[VAC] Re: Vintage haulers and unleaded fuel

The need for leaded gas in older cars is actually true. I have been driving
and restoring old (1960 - 1970s) British cars for many years now and they
are particularly prone to valve and seat problems with no-lead gas.
Probably because of the RPMs and high compression. Most of today's after
market companies offer updated valves and seats to be able to use no lead
gas with out causing problems. BTW, never had a problem with any type of
gas (bottled) in my '60 airstream.
