A '72 Suburban with a 350 should be plenty truck for your 22 footer. I had a '83 'Burb with the 350 and fuel saver gear ratio. It did just fine with my 26 foot Overlander. Of course a '72 is not an '83, but I suspect that if anything the '72 would be more up to the job than an '83. Scott Scheuermann
