I have a '49 22' Curtis-Wright and am looking for a tow vehicle.  Among the
other older vehicles I liked the looks of were '72 Chevy trucks.  I have
found a 2wd Suburban (350 auto) and a couple of short bed pick-ups.  

These have coil springs at the rear and I wonder if anyone has had
experience towing with them.  What did you have to do to them?
