In a way he is right, the 6 gallon will recover faster, but will run out
of hot water sooner.  So if you take short showers, the 6 gallon is
fine.  Even when the 3 of us take successive short showers (using the
shower handle valve to limit water usage) while boonie camping, it
recovers before the next person is ready.  If I was hooking up all the
time, then maybe the 10 gallons might be nice.

The 6 gallon may also fit in the existing hole easier too - check it
out.  Be sure to salvage and reuse the existing external cover instead
of the stupid white ones they come with now.
