[VAC] Need Info on Restoring Interiors

Hi all.  I was wondering how people feel about restoring the INTERIORS of their
Airstream trailers to original condition.  Is the value increased if original
features are intact?  How do you reconcile demands of modern living (like air
conditoning, microwave, etc.) with period interiors? Are there owners who feel
really strongly about keeping original features and others who do not? Do owners
salvage or swap for original built-ins and fixtures? I do not own an Airstream,
just a fan.  I'm  studying historic preservation and am curious how people feel
about interior restoration.  Thanks for any info/comments you care to share.
