I took your advise and put a front receiver on my F350 Ford. I
purchased a DrawTite from the site Etrailer.com for $99 plus $16
shipping. They were approx. $50 cheaper than everyone else.
It went on rather easy. Took several hours to take off the
bumper and put on the receiver. Only had to drill four holes in bumper bracket.
They furnished good instructions and all the needed parts. It hides behind
the bumper and looks good. You hardly notice its there. The only alteration was
to lower the front license plate bracket.
The receiver I got will fit a F250 of 350 Ford Super Duty but
they seem to have them for all makes and years. It has a 500 lb. tongue weight
and 9000 load capacity.
I enclosed a photo below but I am not sure if it will appear
on the list.
