Sounds like a job for a front-mounted hitch
receiver. Here are a couple of thoughts for free - If I were concerned, I'd go
rent a u-haul utility trailer, and make a few practice runs; i'd make sure my
sway-control was loose, but i'd leave load-levelers connected, but not
'tight'.
