Bob,
 All of your drains have traps incorporated to prevent passage of sewer
gas back into your trailer. The toilet, unlike that in a house, does
NOT, so opening the gate valve to flush opens your trailer to the sewer
system.

It shouldn't be a big deal, we've found that the 2 of us can easily go a
week or more w/o dumping the black tank. Living alone, you might only
have to dump every 2 or more weeks. My procedure for flushing out the
tank while dumping is easily done with 2 of us, but won't require much
more time if you do it alone.
