Hi I`m not KC but I have a similar set up ,25' remote panel ,and I used 10 gauge w /ground and didnt use the ground. Cut up extension cord from home depot .Used the same wire from controller to battery`s . If your on Hunters airstream list you can see my set up under the files section , Solar Caravel. Chris
