4ply. definitely has the 'look', but i wouldn't tow cross-country on 'em. On
the other hand, this is what the vintage trailers ran on in the late '40's
and early '50's, so...

The 'Coker Classic 2-7/8" 225/235 14/15 Radial' looks like the best bet in a
wide-white, with a 2028@35psi. I'd want a 'SmartTire' sensor to make sure i
was running at nominal pressure, though, especially on a single axle
trailer.

I highly recommend that people actually weigh their trailers, loaded.
