I like to use a 240 volt 100 watt lamp on 120 volts for small dehumidification heat. It lasts far longer than the 60 watt lamp on 120 volts which has a rated lifetime of about 750 hours. That's about 30 days. Since its heat you are after the dull glow of the 240 volt lamp works just fine. Gerald J.
