[VAC] Re: '52 Flying Cloud?

Kris: here's RJ's directions for sending photos for the archives. He's got a
'52 but more interiors are always great. Interesting that your serial number is
73xx; he has serial numbers for '52s listed as 72xx although in that decade
numbers apparently didn't correspond directly to years. I wonder if enough FCs
would have been built in '52 to go through 100 numbers. Or was the Jackson
Center plant finished by the end of the year in time to start its own production
run and they designated it by different serial number prefix? Or, could it be a
'53?

I try to get to the archives once a week to make corrections and add new
photo's. I'll put a "last update" date in the corner of the table. If you have
some pictures (interiors always appreciated) of a model on the table that
currently does not have any links, just send them to the contact link on the
page:

On another subject, I just completed a review of the VAC serial number registry
to 1979, and came up with a question - In the 1970's, was there a model in
between the 27 foot Overlander and the 29 foot Ambassador, or did the
Overlander grow another foot in the late '70's?
