         Just a thought- if the cutout in both the roof and cieling are now 
the standard 14"X14", you might think about installing a Fantastic vent 
there- this way you wouldn't have to try to match the interior skin (it 
could actually be wired to operate off the old Armstrong thermostat).

         Of course, the skin may be too chopped up to do that.
